    Ignite your career as an Associate Director, Local Tactical Planning in the Publicis Media Exchange! As an experienced Media Investment Professional, you already know that Local Media is dynamic and more important than ever, providing clients with market specific strategies that maximize results while reducing waste. Publicis Media Exchange has re-imagined Local bringing together our Collective, Spark, Starcom, and Zenith agency brands. Discover the difference that PMX has to offer. The Publicis Media Exchange tactically plans and activates across all local media channels too, including Television, Radio, Traditional OOH, Streaming Audio, Digital Video (OTT/CTV/VOD), and Digital & Programmatic OOH.

     

    Our tactical planning roles are the critical thread translating the communication goals to tactical plans and outcomes. In this role your passion for learning marketplace nuances and local dynamics will be pivotal to our success.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee local media tactical plan development and budget

    + Manage the process and procedure for client set up, billing and all administrative functions

    + Evaluate, identify and size media target based on client brief

    + Be responsible for developing and executing local tactical planning

    + Evaluate composition of a wide range of local media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience

    + Present recommendations to account service and clients

    + Maintain strong relationship with key clients

    + Follow detailed instructions and use established procedures, complete work in a detailed manner

    + Supervise, train and develop skills of Associates, Sr Associates & Supervisors by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy

    + Provide final oversight of accurate budget control and flow of media activity and ensure that clients are updated on any issues or changes in a timely and consistent manner

    + Approve media authorizations per approved plans/project requests

    + Provide job performance feedback to subordinates and make recommendations to management

    + Provide staffing recommendations and daily supervision to all accounts

    + Assist in more advanced functions as part of training and development

    + Resource for others in resolution of complex problems/issues

    + Require minimal supervision, relies on advanced experience/judgment

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

    + Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders (Investment, Finance), Clients, and external partners

    + Advocate for multicultural & diversity inclusion throughout tactical plans

    Qualifications

    This is a great opportunity for you if you have 6+ years of experience planning (local preferred) and at least 3 years managing people; If you are approachable, collaborative, responsible and accountable; If you exhibit sharp attention to detail and strong math skills; If you have an intermediate knowledge of Excel and experience with GLP, OX and Prisma media platforms.

    Compensation Range: $95,950 - $150,995 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
