IT E-Discovery Analyst/Legal Hold Administrator
ADM is looking for an IT E-Discovery Analyst/Legal Hold Administrator to work with our E-Discovery IT team and the legal team. This role will report to the Manager responsible for E-Discovery within IT at ADM. All candidates should have experience dealing with complex customer requirements and servicing them.
The E-Discovery IT Lead will support and lead electronic document disclosure/production for legal matters across our global enterprise. They will be responsible for ensuring the legal customers’ e-discovery requirements are met, can satisfy our legal obligations, and deliver those services. They will also in some instances participate in and aid investigations. In this role they will need to collaborate with our internal legal customers, internal Investigation teams, external third parties, and systems owners in IT to understand the diverse IT systems they may need to collect electronic documents and information from. They will collaborate with our internal customers to refine current processes and procedures, document new ones, drive continuous improvements, and explore new solutions and tools.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Contribute suggestions and improvements to E-Discovery processes by continually assessing workflow and raising questions or recommending alternatives.
+ Analyze E-Discovery requests from our internal legal customers.
+ Execute E-Discovery requests to meet the customers’ needs.
+ Perform E-Discovery work to team standard.
+ Document E-Discovery requests, collections, production, and more to ensure we maintain proper records for every E-Discovery.
+ Create clear and concise communications to our team members and eventually to customers.
+ Self-Audit of teammates’ E-Discovery work to ensure standards are maintained.
+ Synthesize information from legal and compliance customers regarding preservation of workstation images, workstation files, mailbox contents, teams and chat contents, Mobile phone contents, etc.
+ Perform initial processing of some E-Discovery collections by creating exports, review sets, etc.
+ Contribute to maintenance of documentation that outline E-Discovery processes and procedures at ADM.
+ Collaborate with Internal and External parties.
+ Compile weekly matter progress reports and be able to speak to updates and impediments to E-Discovery IT Lead and Legal team resources in standing meetings and scrum calls.
+ Recognize challenges, deficiencies in tools or processes, and degraded tool performance and effectively communicate to E-Discovery Team.
Required Skills:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external legal customers.
+ Extensive experience troubleshooting and collaboratively resolving issues presented by deficient software performance or capabilities as well as gaps in workflow protocol.
+ Strong inductive reasoning skills – possessing the ability to receive a task/request and analyze potential downstream implications unseen or not forecasted by the requesting party.
+ Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members in a geographic and culturally diverse workforce.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize work using the guidance of leadership.
+ Strong knowledge of IT, computer science concepts.
+ 4+ years' experience in IT or 2+ years’ experience in a E-Discovery role.
+ Bachelors' degree in technical major or equivalent work experience.
+ Possess functional knowledge and administrative experience on Windows and Unix/Linux Platforms.
+ Proficiency and understanding of E-Discovery tools, or working with the systems that often the targets of E-Discovery such as Exchange Servers, etc.
+ Strong sense of professionalism and ethics.
+ Expected to work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
+ Expected to perform on-call duties
Desired Skills:
+ E-Discovery Certifications are a plus.
+ Experience with Microsoft’s Purview E-Discovery Premium is a plus.
+ Experience with NUIX Enterprise Collection Center (ECC) is a plus.
+ Experience with RelativityOne – particularly the Processing and Hold modules – is a plus.
+ Certification with one or more E-Discovery organizations or platforms (e.g. ACEDS, RCA, Nuix Discovery Master, etc.).
Education Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in a IT related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
+ Experience working with IT systems.
+ Experience working in a medium to large enterprise
Desired Experience:
+ Prior E-Discovery experience preferred, with particular emphasis and familiarity with recommended best practices on the “left side” of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
+ Experience as an individual contributor that can lead work.
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
