    We are seeking a Clinical Assistant for our Weymouth multidisciplinary satellite. Our Weymouth location offers more than 48 pediatric specalities and services including MRI, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a pulmonary function lab. The same pediatric specialists who practice at Boston Children’s main campus in Boston practice in Weymouth.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assisting patients on obtaining vital signs, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit.

    + Scheduling, receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments or procedures.

    + Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.

    + Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.

    + Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.

    + Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks.

    + Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).

    + Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.

    + Providing support in Milford on occasion.

    + Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts. Flexibility within the hours of 730a-530p.

    Minimal Qualifications

    Education

    + HS Diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience

    + 1 year Clinical Assistant or Medical Assistant required.

    + Ambulatory experience preferred.
