Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. In this role, you will handle critical financial tasks, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and ensuring accurate data entry into accounting systems. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices by matching, batching, and coding them accurately.

• Perform regular credit card reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Utilize Excel tools, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze and organize financial data.

• Manage data entry tasks, ensuring precision and compliance with company standards.

• Conduct check runs and review payment schedules to meet deadlines.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of all accounts payable transactions.

• Reconcile vendor statements and address any related inquiries or issues.

• Utilize Oracle software to manage accounts payable functions efficiently.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in Oracle accounting software.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial tasks.

• Familiarity with invoice coding and processing.

• Ability to perform reconciliations, including credit card and vendor accounts.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members.
