Description

Our client's growing is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

+ Handle daily and monthly account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.

+ Prepare and review journal entries with proper coding and documentation.

+ Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations.

+ Assist with audit requests and provide supporting schedules for internal and external reviews.

+ Analyze financial data, highlight trends, and recommend improvements.

+ Prepare ad-hoc reports and contribute to management reporting.

+ Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

+ Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting procedures.

+ Partner with operations, finance, and compliance teams to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

+ Help maintain and enhance accounting software and ERP systems, including participation in upgrades or integrations.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, including strong proficiency in general ledger account reconciliations.

+ Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

+ Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

+ Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
