    Description

    Coordinates and oversees the operation of the residence and maintains safety and compliance with all confidentiality and ethical standards. Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Provides oversight of a community residence serving people receiving alcohol and substance abuse therapy.

    + Ensure that each resident receives comprehensive planning for admission, ongoing treatment and discharge or transfer.

    + Monitor utilization and communicate with Intake to assure maximum utilization of available beds.

    + Communicates performance issues to Department Director and Human Resources and participates in resolution of issues.

    + Monitors daily operation of facility to assure a safe therapeutic environment.

    + Plans, purchases necessary groceries and monitors implementation of meals.

    + Monitors prescription/medication system to ensure client medications are available as appropriate.

    + Submits all bills, invoices or receipts generated for the residence to the Operations Manager for signature. Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings

    + Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings

    + Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job role performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops.

    + Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Including, but not limited to, supporting the Agency's Core Competency initiatives of being Collaborative and Community Focused, Innovative and Entrepreneurial, and Culturally Competent and Diverse

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education:** Associates degree in related field required, Bachelors preferred. _Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered._

     

    **Credentials:** CASAC and New York State Valid Driver’s License

    **Experience:** At least 1-3 year(s) of experience required
