Job Title: Director, OperationsDepartment: Primary Care Location: EJ Noble Building, 80 East Main St., Canton, NY 13617
Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am- 4:30pmSUMMARY: Manages and directs the operations of multiple departments/divisions (service-lines) across sites on a daily and strategic basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration:
+ Directs the day-to-day operations of the RRHS service-line. Devises and implements optimal organizational structure to ensure efficient practice operations given the financial and personnel resources available.
+ Recruits, hires and evaluates management staff. Provides guidance and training and monitors daily performance of management staff.
+ Develops and implements standardized processes and systems within RRHS service-line relating to billing, information, management, operations, patient service and data reporting. Interacts with all practices at all hospitals on a continuous basis as it relates to the implementation of efficient systems.
+ Collaborates with leadership in strategic planning and implementation.
+ Supports Medical Directors of service line(s) for which this position is responsible.
Quality:
+ Collaborates with the clinical leadership to ensure compliance with RRHS quality initiatives and insures compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.
+ Collaborates with the clinical leadership to promote continuous quality improvement in department operations.
+ Ensure optimal patient service and promote ongoing patient satisfaction and staff morale.
Finance:
+ Collaborates with leadership in ensuring optimal financial performance.
+ Participates with the Finance leadership in budget formulation and ongoing variance analysis.
+ Monitors operations to ensure compliance with budget and works on financial improvement opportunities.
+ Understands federal grant program requirements and ensures operational and reporting requirements are met.
Billing:
+ Collaborates with Director of Physician Reimbursement and Patient Financial Services staff to insure maximum reimbursement within regulatory guidelines.
+ Implements proper policies and procedures to ensure full documentation and revenue capture for patient services performed.
+ Coordinates appropriate orientation and training for staff on billing issues and systems.
+ Collaborates with Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Physician Reimbursement to develop, implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ None.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospital, Public Administration or related discipline preferred; Master’s in same fields desired.
+ Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare operations and leadership preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience and success in working collaboratively with physicians and other organizational leadership to achieve identified organizational goals.
+ Strong analytical and communication skills.

$90,000.00 - $140,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
