    Job Description

    + Uses yard truck to stage empty trailers.

    + Backs trailers into designated dock doors for loading/unloading process.

    + Pulls loaded trailers and stages on ship pad in designated position(outbound only)

    + Communicates with interior dock personnel to ensure trailers are completed and released from dock.

    + Performs pre-trip inspection according to Greif Packaging LLC safety procedures and completes and submits inspection form daily.

    + Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Must possess a CDL Class A license with air brakes

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.

     

    Knowledge and Skills

     

    + Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Good customer service skills.

    + Good written and oral communication skills.

    + Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers and colleagues at delivery points.

    + Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.

    + Specialized driver's license(s), such as commercial driver's license, may be required.

    + Ability to back in and stage multiple styles and size trailers.

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions during the day or night.
