This role, **Chief Inspector** , has overall responsibility for the aftermarket repair station compliance and leadership of the FAA Repair personnel, to include:
+ Creating Quality Control Instructions (QCI) for purges and stop ships
+ Leading and owning actions to ensure successful outcomes of Quality Events, such as supplier escapes, and customer corrective action requests including effective RCCA and 7-Steps
+ Ensuring execution of quality systems within and across all teams (i.e., define quality systems, audit execution, ensure accuracy of instructions, train team members, as needed)
+ Review/execute airworthiness directives
Maintenance of internal manuals (RSM, QCM, MOM, EASA/UK Supplement, Training, etc.):
+ Support customer requests; host customer visits, regulatory audits and quality audits
+ Review and approve new and revised Component Maintenance Manual (CMM s), Service Bulletins (SB) and Service Letters (SL)
+ Define quality systems to meet customer and regulatory expectations
+ CASE 1A compliance
FAA/EASA/CAAC/UK part 145 compliance:
+ Conduct quality and regulatory training for all employees, as needed
+ Support internal quality initiatives (e.g., process walks, Kaizens) and ensure ongoing collaboration of best practices and strategies
+ Manage FAA Safety Management System in coordination with SHE team
Ensure on-time delivery, quality and effectiveness of the repair process for customer hardware:
+ Ensure team members understand roles and responsibilities
+ Coach, mentor and train team members to enable them to successfully meet expectations and accountabilities
+ Monitor and review team and individual performance
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree
+ Aftermarket repair station experience
+ Thorough working knowledge and understanding of FARs, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and the ability to communicate this knowledge to the required persons
+ U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree
+ FAA 14 CFR Part 145 knowledge and experience
+ Technical qualification is preferable and highly recommended
+ A&P Mechanic certificate or FAA Repairman Certificate (held or previous role)
+ Previous quality management system experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
