Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team of interventional cardiologists. The successful candidate will focus on assisting providers in the clinical setting and caring for patients with chronic and acute heart diseases. Candidates should possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently after a period of training, and a commitment to putting the patient first.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assess patients' health status, prescribe treatments, and provide education in the clinical setting.
Collaboration: Work as part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team with other providers
Independent Practice: Ability to work independently and manage patient care after a period of training and orientation.
Compliance: Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Requirements
• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in New York.
• Ability to work independently after a period of training.
• A strong commitment to patient care, quality, and safety. ● Experience in cardiac nursing is beneficial. (or vascular - however, willing to train in either specialty)
