Job Posting: Middle School Musical Choreographer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creativeMusical Choreographerto join the production team for our upcoming middle school musical, scheduled for performance in late January 2026. The choreographer will be responsible for designing and teaching dance routines to student performers, collaborating with the creative team, and supporting rehearsals and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Choreography Development & Instruction:Create and teach age-appropriate dance routines for large and small student groups, utilizing licensed materials as needed.

+ Rehearsal Support & Student Supervision:Assist in supervising students during rehearsals held:

+ November 1 – December 19:3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

+ January 5 – January 31:3:00 PM – 5:30 PMRehearsals occur on most school days; scheduling flexibility is available based on candidate availability.

+ Production Collaboration:Work closely with the director and production team to support the artistic vision and execution of the musical.

Qualifications:

+ Experience choreographing for youth or school productions preferred

+ Strong classroom management and communication skills

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with students and staff

+ Availability during specified rehearsal times
