PeaceHealth is seeking a Supervisor Security for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position.
The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $32.68 – $49.00.
The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
The Security Supervisor oversees and coordinates the security operations of the organization. This role ensures the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Security Supervisor leads a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a secure environment.
Details of the position:
+ Monitors and documents security activities, produces reports for a variety of committees as assigned, evaluates trends and recommends corrective actions as appropriate.
+ Ensures that all departmental activities are in compliance with all required regulatory agencies, authorities and codes.
+ Collaborates with the manager to determine the highest and best use of access control systems and digital recording systems and other security technology and patient safety priorities.
+ Takes part in hospital safety/security assessments and hazard and vulnerability assessments as applicable. Works closely with the Safety Manager to ensure a safe and secure hospital environment.
+ Manages and maintains parking program, security and safety for all parking lots, buildings and equipment.
What you bring:
+ High School Diploma Required: and
+ Minimum of 3 years Required: Security, Law Enforcement, Military Security, Loss Control or Emergency Management/Incident Management experience and
+ Minimum of 1 year Required: Previous leadership experience and
+ Required: Upon Hire Drivers License and
+ Required: Basic Life Support and
+ Required: within 1 Year IAHSS-Supervisor
Skills
+ Must be familiar NIMS and National Response Plan and the Incident command structure for managing internal and external disasters. (Required)
+ Computer experience with Windows, MS Office and Access Database. (Required)
+ Must be able to interact with caregivers and the public and be an effective coach and mentor for departmental personnel. (Required)
+ Must be familiar with DNV Standards (Required)
+ Will need to demonstrate effective problem-solving techniques and good verbal and written communication skills. (Required)
