    About this Role

     

    Taylor's Construction is seeking Groundmen to support telecommunications construction crews with fiber installation and utility pole projects. This entry-level role is ideal for those beginning a career in telecom construction.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Assist crews with loading/unloading fiber, equipment, and materials.

    + Maintain safe and clean work areas around telecom construction sites.

    + Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.

    + Provide traffic control and site setup support.

    + Perform manual labor tasks to support fiber installation and pole placement.

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in all conditions.

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work as part of a crew.

    + Valid driver’s license, preferred.

    + Strong desire to learn fiber optic and telecom construction skills.
