The Wharton School’s Real Estate Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position. We seek candidates in applied economics, finance, or related fields who can make significant contributions to real estate economics/finance or urban economics. While applicants may pursue a range of research topics, part of their research should address issues in real estate or urban economics, broadly defined. A strong commitment to excellent teaching in real estate is required.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (expected completion by June 30, 2027, is acceptable) from an accredited institution and have an outstanding research record or potential. Expected appointment start date is July 1, 2026.
