    **VCA Animal Specialty Group (ASG)** is a very busy 24-hour Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital. We are located in Los Angeles, 10 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles.

     

    We have an opening for an experienced and highly motivated **Housekeeper/Janitor** to join our team.

    The ideal candidate must:

    Be a team player who is friendly, compassionate and hard working.

     

    Be reliable and avoid being tardy and calling out from shifts.

     

    Have a positive attitude and excellent communication, and be open to feedback.

     

    Be able to take initiative and multi-task.

     

    Be able to lift at least 30 lb.

     

    Be able to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during an 8-hr. shift.

     

    Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all time.

    Candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

    Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry.

     

    Keep entire hospital, both inside and outside, clean throughout the day.

     

    Stock housekeeping supplies as needed throughout the hospital.

     

    Clean all aspects of the restrooms multiple times per day.

     

    Clean up animal urine and feces inside and outside of the hospital.

     

    Regularly disinfect the backyard grass.
