**VCA Pines West Animal Hospital** is seeking an experienced **Veterinary Technician** (CVT preferred) to join our team.

About Us

Our 3-doctor practice sees dogs and cats. We provide primary care, illness care, dentistry, surgery, and more, open Monday through Friday 7am - 8pm, Saturday 7am - 5pm, and Sunday 9am - 3pm.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. We want you to utilize your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Duties will include:

+ Compassionate patient care

+ Client education and care

+ Venipuncture and catheter placement

+ Radiology and diagnostics

+ Lab sample collection and processing

+ Surgical preparation and assisting

+ Anesthesia monitoring

+ Dentistry

+ Medication preparation and administration

+ Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

+ Medical recordkeeping
