    Job Description

    An employer is seeking an ETL Developer for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC. We’re seeking a seasoned ETL Developer with deep expertise in Informatica, Oracle, and Hadoop to join our dynamic team driving two mission-critical initiatives: ISO 20022 Standardization – transforming legacy financial messaging formats into globally recognized standards and Real-Time Payments Implementation – enabling instant, secure, and scalable payment processing across platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle PL/SQL

    • Build scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines across Hadoop ecosystems (Hive, HDFS, Spark preferred)

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data models with ISO 20022 standards

    • Integrate real-time data feeds to support instant payment processing and settlement

    • Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across all ETL processes

    • Participate in performance tuning, error handling, and system monitoring

    • Document technical specifications, data mappings, and transformation logic

    • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation validation

    Skills and Requirements

    • 7+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development

    • Advanced proficiency in Informatica, Oracle Exadata, and Hadoop technologies

    • Strong understanding of financial data structures, especially in payments and messaging formats

    • Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks • Bank of America experience

    • Experience with ISO 20022 or similar data standardization efforts

    • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

    • Experience with Kafka

    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

    • Experience in distributed computing
