• Global Demand Planning Manager

    Job Description

    We’re seeking a highly analytical and process-driven professional to lead global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) efforts for commercial systems (e.g., smoke detectors, lighting, control panels, microphones) used in large-scale environments like Walmart, Costco, hotels, and stadiums.

     

    This role is focused on long-term demand planning (12-month horizon), not short-term tactical forecasting. You’ll be responsible for building and executing monthly demand cycles, aligning supply with forecasted demand, and preparing strategic plans that support financial goals (EBITDA, cash flow, inventory).

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead monthly global demand planning cycles and S&OP meetings across commercial product lines.

     

    Collaborate with sales teams to forecast material needs at distribution centers and align supply chain operations.

     

    Analyze supply vs. demand to inform decisions on factory capacity, production lines, and inventory strategy.

     

    Consolidate scattered data from multiple ERP systems and Excel sheets into executive-ready formats.

     

    Drive business process transformation in a high-ambiguity, early-stage environment with limited tooling.

     

    Interface with global teams across time zones, managing change and building scalable processes.

     

    This role pays between $60-75 per hour depending on years of experience.

    Skills and Requirements

    Required Skills

    Strong background in supply chain planning, inventory management, and financial forecasting.

     

    Experience with ERP systems and understanding of MRP functions.

     

    Proficiency in SQL for building reports and extracting data from databases.

     

    Advanced Excel skills (basic formulas, data aggregation—not complex macros).

     

    Executive presence and ability to present strategic insights to leadership.

     

    Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and leading process evolution.
