    Job Summary Details:

    The Warehouse PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Operator is responsible for safely operating various types of PIT equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials within a warehouse. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and ensures accurate inventory handling.

     

    Shift: 7am - 5:30pm Weds-Sat

     

    Requirements: Ability to push/lift 50-75lbs constantly.

     

    Payrate: $17.25 - $17.75 Hourly

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    • Ability to push/lift 50-75lbs constantly.

    • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Customer service experience

    • 1 year of similar work experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operate PIT equipment such as cherry pickers, turret trucks, electric pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts to move products and materials.

     

    Use RF scanners to accurately pick, put away, and track merchandise.

     

    Load and unload trailers and containers as needed.

     

    Perform inbound receiving and outbound shipping processes.

     

    Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 7S or similar standards.

     

    Follow safety protocols and demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.

     

    Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.

     

    A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
