We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of new capability programs, ensuring delivery within cost, schedule, and technical requirements\. The successful candidate will:

THE WORK

Lead a cross\-functional Program Management Team \(PMT\) to drive program success

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Manage program planning, financial control, and earned value efforts

Provide regular status updates to executive leadership and resolve internal issues as needed

Support new business capture efforts, including proposal development and contract execution

Position will be based out of Stratford, CT

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in program management, business operations, finance, or related field

Demonstrated experience with cost and schedule management \(e\.g\., Earned Value Management, IMS/IMP, baseline control\)

Proven ability to lead cross\-functional teams and manage complex program requirements

Experience working with U\.S\. Government contracts and understanding of acquisition lifecycle

Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

Experience in Program Management and/or Engineering with financial control and full criteria earned value experience is required\.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required\.

Strong team building skills required\.

BA/BS degree in Engineering, technical, business or related field with 5\-8\+ years’ experience is required\.

Ability to multi\-task and manage multiple contracts concurrently is preferred\.

Solid appreciation of the importance of integrated master plans \(IMP\) and master schedules \(IMS\)\. Able to utilize enterprise scheduling tools to manage all projects/programs\. Able to formulate and execute recovery plans as required\.

Knowledge of Risk Management tools and implementation is preferred\.

MA/MS/MBA Preferred\.

Project Management Institute Certification and experience with SAP, Open Plan and Winsight is preferred\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
