    Danfoss is hiring a MRO Category Manager at our Ames, IA facility. In this you will be responsible for leading sourcing and negotiation activities of all MRO Integrator suppliers into a reduced number of preferred suppliers; also implements optimization ideas, improves commercial conditions, and contributes to competitiveness.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Develop and maintain category strategy (direction, goals, supplier strategy, execution plans)

    + Negotiate contracts

    + Manage supplier relationship

    + Execute initiatives to ensure continuous improvements

    + Manage key stakeholders

    + Communicate strategies and prioritize daily

    + Contact with wide range of external suppliers

    What We're Looking For

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Electrical, Mechanical & Process Engineering, or International Relations

    + 8 years experience with negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management

    + 2 years experience with procurement of MRO Integrators, Catalogs and Cutting Tools

    Work conditions:

    Full-time, 40 hours per week

    The salary for this position is $120,000 to $125,000 and this is non-negotiable.
