The Third Party Partnerships Manager is an embedded role within the Growth & Innovation team who will own the comprehensive business strategy and customer experience for the Third Party Partnership instore program. This role will support a holistic strategy for these partnerships, and will work with cross functional partners to implement this strategy. Key stakeholders will include Store Design, Real Estate, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Project Managers. This Third Party Partnerships Manager must be comfortable navigating within an ambiguous space and willing to find nuanced solutions. This role will support the integration of this business into broader Amazon and Whole Foods Market retail processes, including business review series (WBR, MBR and QBR’s) as well as financial reporting. They’ll work to find ways to include these programs in broader Marketing efforts and work as a liaison between our internal teams and the appropriate contacts on our third party partner teams. They’ll partner with our physical change management teams to launch these partners in stores, assuming full ownership of the relationships post launch. The person who fills this role will have demonstrated strengths in the Amazon Leadership Principles of Earns Trust, Ownership, Bias for Action and Think Big.
Key job responsibilities
The Third Party Partnerships Manager will own the top to bottom program performance for our third party partnerships, analyzing all partner performance to understand root cause drivers and create actions accordingly. They’ll support cross functional business reviews with internal and external partners to review these plans and ensure engagement and delivery. They’ll track performance with an eye for both short term issues needing remediation and longer-term trends to inform their holistic category strategy. The Third Party Partnerships Manager will develop mechanisms to give leadership competitor and marketplace views, surfacing partner or concept opportunities to interrogate. The Third Party Partnerships Manager will provide business team perspective and requirements as finance, accounting and tech partners build out solutions. They’ll need to build an understanding of core Amazon financial processes to be able to provide complete and accurate requirements, and will need to influence roadmap and prioritization of these products through the OP1 intake process.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of vendor management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
