Responsibilities
Delivers consultative services to leaders and teams to support alignment of people and business strategies. Collaborates with leaders on forward-thinking initiatives and HR solutions that drive employee engagement, leadership and organizational effectiveness, and talent planning. The HRBP is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data/trends to guide decision making and proactive solutions, applying best practice principles, providing HR expertise, and using persuasion to drive decisions that are in alignment with Mayo Clinic Values, recognizing site and cultural differences. The HRBP is a strong collaborator across HR, delivering future focused planning services such as workforce and succession planning, organizational design, etc. The HRBP is a strong project manager and people leader; guiding multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement HR solutions that are relevant to customers. The HRBP has expertise in day-to-day HR operations to advise customers on relevant and timely needs. May conduct HR investigations. Assists with accreditation surveys and internal audits to ensure compliance and consistency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 8 years relevant HR experience or a Master's degree and 5 years relevant HR experience. Demonstrated strong skills in written and oral communication, relationship building, persuasion/influence, critical thinking, problem solving, data analysis, agility, service excellence, and project management, are required. The following certifications are preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR); Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Prior experience navigating complex organizational structures is preferred.

Schedule Details
Business hours. This position requires in-person attendance at one of our main Mayo Clinic campuses in Arizona, Florida, or Rochester, Minnesota, a minimum of 2 days per week. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of their chosen campus.
