    **Job Title:** Operator I – 3rd Shift

    **Location:** Sterling, VA

    **Status:** Accepting Candidates

    **Pay Rate:** $15.00 per hour

    **Shift:** 3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    Summary

    Adecco is hiring **Operator I** associates in Sterling, VA. This position follows established procedures and recipes to prepare food using the sous vide cooking method in a fast-paced production environment.

    Experience & Skills

    + Ability to follow written directions and verbal instructions in sequential order

    + Basic knowledge of measurements (weight, volume, temperature)

    + Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English (Spanish a plus)

    + Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

    + Ability to follow detailed instructions and report equipment/quality issues

    + Culinary/food preparation experience preferred

    Education

    + Minimum of 6th-grade education required

    + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred but not required

    Key Responsibilities

    + Complete required training (QA, safety, sanitation, allergens, HACCP, GMP)

    + Verify raw materials, prepped food, and finished products meet quality standards

    + Report equipment or quality issues immediately to supervisor

    + Accurately measure/weigh ingredients and follow workstation procedures

    + Properly store raw and cooked food during production steps

    + Follow sanitation and safety guidelines to prevent contamination

    + Operate food preparation and packaging equipment (knives, ovens, grills, searing, Theramix, multivac machine, etc.)

    + Record production data, including temperature logs and metal detector checks

    + Maintain work area cleanliness and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

    + Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods

    + Ability to lift/carry boxes or trays up to **40 lbs** (and up to **55+ lbs** as required)

    + Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (+45–60°F, coolers +25–40°F, freezers as low as -10°F)

    + Comfortable working near food preparation and packaging equipment

    Work Environment

    + Fast-paced, deadline-driven production setting

    + Continuous standing and movement

    + Exposure to coolers, freezers, and heated equipment

    + Must maintain neat and clean uniform and hygiene standards

    **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
