    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, particularly those with an interest in machining, printing, and quality control processes. Both day and night shifts are available.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist Press operators

    + Learn the operation and maintenance of printing and converting equipment

    + Set up and run your station effectively and efficiently

    + Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary during production runs

    + Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operation

    + General labor

    + Packaging

    + Mechanically inclined

    + Basic understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing or production environment

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities

    + Experience in general production

    + Knowledge of hand tools and printing press operations

    + Troubleshooting skills

    + Mechanical aptitude

    Work Environment

     

    The position is in a printing press environment within a manufacturing setting. The work shift is from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm or 4pm to 2:30am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based south of Olathe.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $18.70/hr.
