• Summer Internship - Marketing Design (NYC)

    Overview

     

    Our marketing design team is seeking an intern to create digital ads, social media content, and more, with a focus on promoting teen, young adult, and romance books.

    Responsibilities

    + Designs trade and consumer advertisements.

    + Designs social media marketing content.

    + Makes revisions on active design projects.

    + Animates digital ads and book covers.

    + Downloads assets from DAM for various projects.

    Qualifications

    + Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2026 or 2027 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to two years of work experience.

    + Candidates must be available to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 8 to August 13, 2026, at our New York City office. This internship is compensated at a rate of $18 per hour.

    + Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.

    + A passion for books is highly valued!

    + Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects on a Mac.

    + Social Media proficient (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).

    + An interest in or a major/minor in design, advertising, or marketing.

    + Applicants should include a link to an online portfolio.
