    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team in the Brick, New Jersey area. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of HR administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update employee data within the HR information system to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Monitor and follow up on I-9 forms, expiring documentation, and incomplete employee records.

    • Prepare and distribute employee correspondence, including verification letters, resignation notices, and jury duty communications.

    • Oversee the processing of new hires, terminations, and performance reviews in a timely manner.

    • Assist in managing compliance documentation, forms, and employee system access.

    • Coordinate special employee arrangements, such as baby gifts, condolence gestures, ID badges, and lab coats.

    • Perform general administrative tasks to support HR operations and initiatives.

    • Provide occasional coverage for other HR team members when necessary.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration or a related field.

     

    • Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR compliance practices.

    • Proficiency in using HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for data management.

    • Familiarity with I-9 compliance and related documentation requirements.

    • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
