• Mid-Level Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Developer

We are hiring a Mid-Level M&S Developer to support key programs at NSWC Crane. This position will be based on-site at NWSC Crane.     Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Interpret military mission threads and extract key attributes to be modeled

    + Interpret system technical documentation and extract key attributes to be modeled

    + Develop digital representations of system attributes and system behaviors

    + Integrate modeling elements into M&S toolsets that predict system-of-systems performance

    + Generate design documentation and maintain version control

    + Validate that M&S toolsets produce realistic results

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job

    + 1+ years of experience integrating digital models to predict system-of-systems performance

    + 1+ years of experience working in a secure integrated data environment

    + Familiar with (or similar):

    + AFSIM

    + ITASE

    + Matlab

    + Python

    + SysML models

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering an ABET-accredited Engineering program with a GPA of 3.0

    + Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret/ TS/SCI Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in a systems engineering job or mission engineering job

    + Experience with military mission scenario modeling

    + Experience testing digital models or software products

    + Experience with radar, electronic surveillance, and radio datalinks

    + Experience with missile guidance and missile countermeasures
