A successful Warehouse Manager shall oversee warehouse personnel; ensure receiving, warehousing, and distributing materials by implementing, coordinating, and applying program, operations, and personnel guidelines and procedures; ensure accurate inventory records by conducting and organizing physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of materials handling equipment; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with fork lifts and pallet jacks and the functionality of each; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

What you’ll do

+ Manages a team within a business unit or leads a professional discipline within a function

+ Collaborates with and/or manages others to achieve tactical business results

+ Provides functional expertise, project management, and team leadership

+ Manages implementation of mid-size to large projects, programs or processes

+ Assists with the development and implementation of policies, systems and processes

+ Provides expertise and high level analytical, interpretative, and constructive advice to employees

+ Responsible for administering and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures

What you’ll need

+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience

+ Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience

+ Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks

+ Authorized to work in the United States

+ Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

Workplace Environment and Physical Demands:

To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to lift and manipulate materials and equipment up to 75 pounds. Work is performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation, and in rugged terrain such as back easements, rural locations and at active construction sites. Noise level can range from moderate to loud and from intermediate to constant.
