    Job Summary

    Work Shift

    1 - First Shift

     

    Are you the type of process-oriented person who consistently demonstrates fine attention to detail, who likes a challenge, and is adaptable to change? In this role you will partner across the production control team to provide a critical link in production between scheduling all the way through product completion. We’re looking for dedicated team members with a drive to make a difference.

    What You’ll Do

    1. Train and develop team members as well as create standardization and best practice to drive consistency in all segments.

    2. Plan, implement, and manage production control special projects.

    3. Maintain reports; schedules related to shop floor production.

    4. Determine source of action to maintain proper inventory levels.

    5. Serve as the subject matter expert for questions and guidance relating to production control processes and issues.

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    - Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience with production control or scheduling or a diploma with minimum of five years of manufacturing experience and/or training; and/or combination of education and experience required.

     

    - Production process experience required; MRP system, preferred.

     

    - Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, good verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Travel

     

    - No travel is expected of this position.

    Work Location

    ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
