Required: CDL A/B with Airbrake and Passenger Endorsement

Providing transportation for NYS Department of Corrections originating within Clinton and Franklin Counties in NY and transporting to multiple locations. Our drivers connect people to jobs, healthcare, education and leisure activities! As a Bus Driver you would provide our clients with the freedom and convenience of reliable, safe transportation. Transdev is proud to offer:

+ Competitive compensation package of minimum $27.81/ hour

Benefits include:

+ Vacation: Available after one (1) year in full time service.

+ Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

+ Safely transporting passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area

Qualifications:

+ Have good verbal communication skills

+ Are at least 21 years old

+ Have Coach Bus Experience

+ Have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years

+ Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

+ The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

+ Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

+ Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, and reach overhead or below waist level to access tools, parts, and equipment.

+ Must be able to work safely in and around high-traffic areas and tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and loud noise commonly found in a fleet maintenance environment.
