What you'll do...

About the Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned **Senior Software Engineer** with deep expertise in **Node.js** , **GraphQL** , and **Federated GraphQL architectures** . You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices, contributing to our core API ecosystem, and ensuring seamless integration across services. This role also involves ownership of deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization in a **cloud-native environment** . **Key Responsibilities:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, GraphQL and React

+ Implement and manage **Federated GraphQL** schemas across distributed teams and services.

+ Own the full software lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.

+ Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define data models and APIs.

+ Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

+ Contribute to system architecture and advocate for best practices in microservices.

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.

+ Strong knowledge of GraphQL and hands-on experience with **Apollo Federation** .

+ Experience designing and deploying microservices in production cloud environments.

+ Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, and observability practices.

+ Solid understanding of REST, caching strategies, and distributed systems concepts.

Nice to Have:

+ Experience with TypeScript.

+ Prior work in high-scale eCommerce or consumer-facing platforms.

+ Exposure to event-driven architecture or message queues.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
