Job Description

Responsible to provide basic patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Responsible for assisting in interviewing prospective oncoming NA's and will assist in conducting reviews through probationary period. Assists in conducting new-hire orientation, which consists of 8-hour shifts, 2-3 times a week. Conducts charting overview/review and addresses concerns and notes proper documentation. Collaborates with staff for scheduling to ensure two rotations are consistently filled for patient/staff safety. Will check in on cares and with patients regarding their cares throughout the day. Will do room checks, team building, documenting, and mediating any employee issues or escalating if necessary. Shift is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Education And Credentials

High school graduate or equivalent required. BLS certification required within 90-days from hire date. Certification course preferred.
