    BayCare is currently in search of our newest **Lab Medical Assistant II-Phlebotomy** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.     + **Shift Hours:** 7:00 AM – 3:30PM (May Vary)

    + **Shift Days:** Monday thru Friday

    + **Location:** St. Petersburg, FL

    + **Weekend Work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing

    + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens

    + Referring specimens to outside laboratories

    + Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests

    + Performance of phlebotomy procedures

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    + Required High School or Equivalent

    + Required Florida Driver's License if applicable

    + Required 6 months phlebotomy; or 6 months laboratory related or 6 months related field
