    The Senior Manager of Fixed Assets will lead and manage the fixed assets accounting team, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization of the company's fixed assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of fixed asset management, accounting principles, and compliance requirements. The Senior Manager will collaborate with various departments to support business objectives and enhance asset utilization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Fixed Asset Management:

    + Oversee the complete lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, tracking, depreciation, and disposal.

    + Ensure accurate and timely recording of fixed asset transactions in compliance with GAAP and company policies.

    + Develop and implement procedures to improve asset management and control.

    Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    + Prepare and review fixed asset schedules and reports for financial statements and audits, and tax reporting.

    + Analyze asset data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or optimization.

    + Collaborate with the finance team to support planning and forecasting processes related to fixed assets.

    Compliance and Audit:

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements.

    + Lead internal and external audits related to fixed assets, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

    + Develop and maintain policies and procedures for fixed asset management

    Team Leadership and Development:

    + Manage and mentor a team of fixed asset accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

    + Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    + Work closely with tax, procurement, operations, engineering, and IS departments to ensure alignment on asset management strategies.

    + Support capital project planning and execution, providing financial insights and recommendations.

    System Management:

    + Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of fixed asset management systems and tools.

    + Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve asset tracking and reporting efficiency.

    + Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.

    + CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Proficient in accounting software and fixed asset management systems.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Work Environment:

    + This position may require occasional travel to company locations or project sites.

    + Standard office environment, with 4 days per week in office presence.
