Machine Operator – Utility Operator

We’re looking for motivated, hands-on individuals ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment. As a **Utility Operator** , you’ll be trained to operate specialized equipment in our extrusion and tube mill departments, handle aluminum products, and support our production teams to meet daily goals—all while following the highest safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

+ 🔧 **Operate & Support** – Learn to run extrusion or tube mill equipment and assist with casting operations.

+ 📦 **Material Handling** – Move materials on and off machines using hoists and safe lifting techniques.

+ ✅ **Quality First** – Perform inspections, measurements, and quality checks to ensure products meet standards.

+ 🤝 **Teamwork** – Collaborate with operators, leads, and supervisors to keep production running smoothly.

+ 🔄 **Flexibility** – Rotate through departments as a utility worker before moving into a permanent role.

+ 📝 **Report Issues** – Identify and communicate unusual conditions to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

+ 1–2 years of experience in **general labor, production, or machine operation** .

+ Skills in **material handling, assembly, packaging, and using hand tools** .

+ Experience with **forklifts, quality control, and inspection tools** (tape measures, press machines).

+ Ability to work in a **union environment** with shift flexibility.

+ A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.31 - $20.31/hr.
