    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling electrical control panels to meet customer specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance in order to ensure the functionality and reliability of control panels.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble electrical control panels according to customer orders.

    + Wire control panels, ensuring proficiency with devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, and transmitters.

    + Maintain necessary U.L. and other quality control files.

    + Layout components in various sized cabinets.

    + Mentor junior team members.

    + Potentially assume a lead role on customer projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of a high school education.

    + Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.

    + 3+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams.

    + Experience using hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels.

    + Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints/schematics.

    + Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Quality Assurance experience.

    + IPC certification and training is a plus.

    + Experience with ladder logic schematics.

    + Ability to operate hand tools efficiently.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
