    Job Title: Inventory Specialist

    Job Description

    As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory within the kitting area of the warehouse. Your primary focus will be ensuring that physical inventory matches system records, using various computer systems to track and manage inventory data.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize computer systems such as MAMM, Supermarket, and SAP to track inventory and maintain accurate records.

    + Perform physical inventory counts to ensure system accuracy.

    + Locate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.

    + Print and audit inventory reports generated through the Cat systems.

    + Operate material movement equipment including standup forklifts and electric carts.

    + Ensure inventory accuracy and own the inventory counts and records.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inventory tracking and data entry within web-based and database systems.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.

    + Comfortability with operating standup forklifts and other vehicles in warehouse settings.

    + At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.

    + High attention to detail and strong attendance record.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience working with SAP and MAMM systems.

    + Experience as a 4Q Auditor, in supply chain planning, or as an Inventory Analyst.

    + Training and experience in forklift operation.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes three shifts: 1st shift (7am - 3pm), 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am). You will receive a 10-minute break every 2 hours and a 20-minute paid lunch. Training involves two weeks of classroom-based learning, with a focus on Cat systems and forklift operation. Safety attire includes steel-toed shoes, work pants, bump cap, high-visibility vest, and safety glasses.

    This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
