Job Title: R&D Technician II Job Description
The R&D Technician II will work under limited supervision, assisting research and development engineers, scientists, and teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. This role requires proficiency in test methodologies and mechanical design verification testing, with a focus on maintaining quality compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct test method and equipment qualifications.
+ Perform mechanical design verification testing.
+ Maintain good documentation practices.
+ Ensure compliance with quality requirements in all aspects of work.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in test methodologies.
+ Ability to perform mechanical testing and verify design.
+ Good documentation practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
+ At least 1 year of related experience.
+ Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
+ Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOP).
+ Experience with tensile testing.
Work Environment
The position involves working with mechanical testing equipment in a controlled environment. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality systems. The technician will follow directions and contribute to a collaborative team setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
