Job Title: Entry Level Engineer

Job Description:

Actalent is seeking a recent engineering graduate to join their team. This Engineer will design all hardware and software elements for a complete and functioning system that meets the project contract documentation. Ensure adherence to engineering standard practices and guidelines while researching alternatives, obtaining suppliers, and verifying that the design will function as required. Estimate pricing for equipment replacements and conduct post-sale re-estimates to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

+ Design hardware and software elements for complete system functionality.

+ Adhere to engineering standard practices and guidelines.

+ Research alternatives and obtain necessary suppliers and specification sheets.

+ Estimate pricing for equipment replacements.

+ Assist with bid document and presentation preparation, including technical data and CAD drawings.

+ Coordinate material order release and handling with the project manager.

+ Develop accurate engineering time estimates and schedules.

+ Research equipment compatibility and enhance system designs.

+ Responsible for final equipment purchasing.

+ Generate submittals, O&Ms, and as-builts as required by project documentation.

+ Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

An engineering degree from an accredited college or university.

Engineering Internship Experience

Work Environment

The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in building automation and control systems. HVAC systems and electrical controls, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The position may involve collaborating with project managers and technicians in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
