Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Communications & Marketing, the Senior Provider Communications Specialist is responsible for managing the planning, development and execution of appropriate print, web-based/digital, incentive-based and telephonic provider communication strategies designed to meet regulatory/contractual/federal requirements,;NCQA accreditation requirements, HEDIS requirements, cultural competency requirements, and corporate branding standards. Coordinates with subject matter experts to assure required changes and updates are implemented in a timely manner and all applicable policies and related documents are updated.;;

Manages and keeps current information and resources on the Provider website. Manages all digital communications for providers, including but not limited to a monthly digest and an annual newsletter. Manages Plan messaging for cross-functional, inter-departmental and potentially enterprise-wide projects resulting in direct financial impacts for the plan. Works closely with provider-facing teams to support provider training programs in accordance with the Provider Training Plan and to respond to state requirements or issues as needed.;

With guidance from the Director of Communications, the Senior Provider Communications Specialist has the opportunity to interface with members of the ACNC and Corporate Clinical Leadership team, eliciting their ideas and providing counsel to develop communication materials to meet their goals while ensuring integration and consistency with business goals and objectives, as well as the requirements to which the health plans are bound.; The Senior Provider Communications Specialist works collaboratively with internal associates and teams at all levels within the organization, as well as with outward-facing customers, such as vendors, State agents, and providers.

This position is a hybrid position in our Raleigh, NC office located at 8041 Arco Corporate Dr. ;

Education/ Experience:

+ Bachelor’s Degree required.;

+ 5 to 10 years experience.

Other Skills:

+ Strong project management experience in member and/or provider communications in a healthcare or Managed Care Organization to include experience in training and communication material development similar to this job’s content. ;Will manage and prioritize competing projects. ;

+ 1 to 2 years Medicaid experience preferred.; Experience managing cross-functional, inter-departmental and at times enterprise wide projects resulting in direct financial impacts for the company preferred, as well as experience in independently representing the enterprise with external vendors, subcontractors and state agency partners.; Experience working with groups such as annual operating plan groups, HEDIS work groups, Corporate Quality and Integrated Care management across a large organization also preferred.
