    RGP is seeking a Attorney Consultant to work in a Legal Department’s contracting team. This role is an integral part of the organization, offering the opportunity to operate independently in a dynamic environment and partner closely with our General & Administrative (G&A) functions, including HR, IT, consulting services, facilities, privacy, and information security. 5 days on-site. 6 months contract.

     

    + Draft, revise, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, consulting/professional services agreements, SOWs, software licenses, cloud computing agreements, data processing agreements, amendments, and other IT-related agreements.

    + Provide legal advice on existing agreements and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

    + Identify and communicate risks to internal stakeholders, driving resolution in alignment with business needs.

    + Collaborate with internal clients across G&A to address legal and business questions effectively.

    + Ensure contracts reflect accurate business terms while protecting company interests.

    + Support and advise contracts managers during complex negotiations.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement of contracting systems, processes, templates, and playbooks.

    + JD degree required; must be admitted to practice law (California bar admission preferred).

    + 7 years + of transactional legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment, with a strong focus on IT-related agreements.

    + Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with executives and senior leaders.

    + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    + Self-starter who works independently while also thriving in team settings.

    + High attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to professional excellence.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CLM systems.

    + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

    + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

    + Pay Range: $85-90hr.
