    Job Title: Contracts Manager

    Job Description

    The Contracts Manager is responsible for leading negotiations of complex and cross-functional contracts with external vendors, working closely with internal teams. This role manages contract negotiations for designated business areas and partners with Sourcing, Category Management, and Vendor Management teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives, pricing, performance standards, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Contracts Manager will develop and execute negotiation strategies that include pricing, preferred terms and conditions, risk mitigation, and high-performance service level agreements.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead negotiations of complex and cross-functional contracts with external vendors.

    + Collaborate with internal teams such as Sourcing, Category Management, and Vendor Management.

    + Ensure contract terms align with business objectives and compliance with laws and regulations.

    + Develop and execute negotiation strategies focusing on pricing, terms, risk mitigation, and service level agreements.

    + Collaborate with Legal, Technology, Finance, and Operations to address deviations from preferred terms.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

    + 3-5 years of related work experience for Senior level, and 5-8 years for complex level beyond degree.

    + Strong negotiation, analytic, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Preferred degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Pre-Law.

    + Healthcare experience with familiarity with emerging trends in contracting and healthcare.

    + Experience negotiating complex contracts, with specific experience in IT and/or Operations preferred.

    Work Environment

    This role requires onsite presence 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday) beginning in January 2026. The organization provides a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and build a strong foundation in contract management.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $65.00/hr.
