Job Title: Assistant, Recreation & LeisureDepartment: Therapies Location: Edna Tina Wilson Living Center Hours Per Week: Per DiemSchedule: 9am-4:30pm on weekends SUMMARY:As a Recreation & Leisure Assistant, your organizational skills, customer service and demonstrated compassion allows you to plan and implement meaningful activities for all residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Planning & Implementation. Implement group programs and structured individual activities; respond to resident requests; communicate with residents, families, coordinator staff and volunteers
+ Transportation. Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities
+ General Assistance. Appropriately prepare for scheduled activities, including coordination of proper supplies and equipment; log daily activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Graduate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Valid NYS Driver’s License preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
