**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical Support)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to provide technical support and hands-on maintenance for production, facility, and utility equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting ability across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the flexibility to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.

Located in Fremont, CA

6 month contract with extension

**Pay Range:** $30 – $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production and facility equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including motors, controls, and powered components.

+ Assist in equipment upgrades, logic changes, and process improvements.

+ Support equipment start-up, project implementation, and qualification testing.

+ Execute and document work in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

+ Review and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with standards and support continuous improvement.

+ Maintain accurate records in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM).

+ Respond to service calls while the plant is in operation, including during off-shifts and weekends.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

+ Strong working knowledge of schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols.

+ Hands-on experience with instrumentation, measurement, and control systems.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory compliance.

+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.; Preventive and corrective maintenance methods; Comfort with personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when required.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (outdoors, elevated temperatures, confined spaces, sterile environments).
