CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Vault Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
**Location:** Buffalo, NY
**Duration:** 3 months
Overview:
The Document Custodian Vault Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management, organization, and control of critical financial documents within a secure vault environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will work independently to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Manage, track, and reconcile incoming and outgoing documents within the vault.
+ Perform document reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
+ Utilize Microsoft Excel to record, monitor, and analyze data related to document custody.
+ Maintain security and confidentiality of all documents handled.
+ Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up for resolution.
+ Support audits, reporting, and process improvements as required.
Scope of Responsibilities:
+ Ensure the integrity and accuracy of vault records and document storage.
+ Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
+ Work independently to manage daily tasks and prioritize workloads effectively.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
+ None. This is an individual contributor role.
Education and Experience Required:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, reporting).
+ Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience Preferred:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
+ Experience in document custody, financial services, or records management.
+ Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to document handling.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
