    Maintenance Mechanic – Full TimeStarting at $18.25–$20.00/hr (based on experience)Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm

    What You’ll Do:

    + Perform mechanical repairs on facility equipment including wheelchairs, beds, carts, pumps, fans, HVAC systems, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment

    + Handle plumbing tasks such as pipe repairs (copper, steel, PVC), drain cleaning, and assembly/disassembly of sinks, toilets, showers, and baths

    + Maintain and repair furniture, doors, windows, wallboard, locks, floor tiles, and ceiling tiles

    + Erect and dismantle scaffolding; perform painting, plastering, and wallpapering as needed

    + Work with electrical systems (single and poly-phase), installing or repairing motors, starters, switches, and current-limiting devices

    + Support facility systems including paging and call light systems, boilers, and fire protection equipment

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred trade school or technical training preferred

    + Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general maintenance, building systems, or a related trade

    + Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems

    + Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    + Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

    + Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
