    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Sr. BI/Data Analyst to join their clients team. They will be leveraging analytical expertise to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role interprets complex data sets to formulate and provide actionable insights and collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and create reports and dashboards to enhance business performance.

     

    This position leads development and execution of best practices in the visual delivery of information through dashboards and ad-hoc analyses, using Azure Databricks, SQL, Power BI or similar solutions/systems.

     

    "They want someone who is going to coming and pull data that is in Databricks using SQL. They want them to be able to present and visualize that data in PowerBI so that they can connect it with Databricks. The most important part of this is when they are able to pull the data, they will be able to build ML models or any type of regression models to learn new things from the databricks platform so that they can see trends that arent as easily identifiable. This team is definitely more on the analytics side of the house."

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Remote but must sit out of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York (excluding NYC proper), North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

     

    • Bachelors Degree

    • 3+ years of experience as a Data/BI Analyst

    • 3+ years of experience with SQL

    • 3+ years of experience with Power BI

    • 3+ years of experience with Python

     

    o Not just scripting experience. They need to be able to build statistical models from Python. As well as calls from Python, being abe to apply those models in a data set, read the python script and understand what type of models are being used

     

    • 1+ years of Databricks experience

    • Strong Excel experience

    o Creating pivot tables

    • Strong Statistical Modeling experience - Experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in Excel

     

    - Experience in contact centers

     

    - Data Analysis within an educational Institution or Credit Union
