Job Description

The primary role of this position is to install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems under the supervision of a senior installer or supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems.

• Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.

• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.

• Perform system testing and signal verification.

• Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).

• Conduct new system installations, upgrades, and additions.

• Organize and utilize technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient task execution.

• Monitor and ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

• Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

• Exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Complete other projects as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training.

• At least 5 years of experience (ideally 6+ years)

• Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.

• Familiarity with local/national codes.

• Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures in English • Any certifications related to experience.

• OSHA 10 Cert.

• NICET Certified.

• Lift Cert or MEWP

• Low voltage experience.

• Alarm License.

• Networking.

• 5+ years of commercial experience with one of the following: fire alarms, alarms, radio, CCTV, security, cameras, or burglar systems.

• Product knowledge of devices such as Honeywell, DMP, Bosch, Kityhoka , EST, or others.
