Insight Global is looking for a Kubernetes Cloud Engineer for one of our automotive suppliers, committed to creating advanced technology and systems for a more connected, efficient, and sustainable future. This position will join a tea aimed at enhancing vehicle safety, security, and overall driving experience through cutting-edge technologies. Their keyless access solutions team operates under this initiative, developing innovative software to optimize fleet management and support the evolving mobility landscape. Join us to be part of an exciting, fast-growing team driving the next generation of fleet solutions. They are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform, AWS cloud services, Kubernetes (EKS), and advanced cloud networking. This role will focus on designing, securing, and operating production-grade Kubernetes infrastructure and building automation for scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, terraform, service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), as well as strong knowledge of cyber security, and privacy best practices.

$40/hr to $70/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.

- Strong expertise with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).

- Production Kubernetes (EKS) experience: cluster management, upgrades, networking, RBAC, scaling. Hands-on experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced Kubernetes networking.

- Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC design, routing, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls).

- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, etc.).

- Strong background in cybersecurity and privacy best practices.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability in cloud-native environments. - Previous automotive or vehicle experience
